Creating an account

Note: You must be at least 16 years old to create a CirklesApp account.

Here's how to create a new CirklesApp account for Free!

• Go to the below websites:
• • CirklesApp.com
  • https://www.cirklesapp.com/CirklesApp/login

Click on → “Home” at the top right corner of the page, and then click → Login.

• Once you’re on the Login page, click on “Create Account” to get started.
• Enter → mobile number → OTP Authentication.
• Complete the onscreen fields → Enter your First Name, Last Name, User/Profile Name (The name to be displayed on your profile) and Password.
• Then click Create Account.

I can’t create a CirklesApp account with my mobile number.

If you're having trouble creating an account with your phone number:

• An account already exists with your mobile number → you can go back to the login page and try the “Forgot password”.

Unable to create a CirklesApp account?

We ask everyone to use the name they go by in everyday life on their CirklesApp account so that you always know who you're connecting with.

We block the use of certain names to help prevent people from creating fake or malicious accounts. We're sorry if your name was blocked by mistake.

If you're trying to create an account:

• Make sure that your name follows our guidelines.
• Try signing up again at https://www.cirklesapp.com/CirklesApp/login.
• If you're still having trouble signing up or if you think your name was rejected by mistake, let us know.

Didn’t receive the code?

We're sorry you're having trouble confirming your mobile number. Here are some things you can try:

Check the number that you entered

• Enter the 10 digit mobile number.
• Click here to view the mobile number that you entered.
• If you’ve entered the wrong number, click the “Back” button to modify the existing number.

Re-send the SMS

• Click on “Resend Code” to receive the OTP authentication number.

Login

Account created successfully? → Hurray! You’re one step away from exploring more of CirklesApp!

Go back to the Login page:

• You have two modes of logging in - Email & Phone number. Use the toggle button to either use email or phone number based on your preference.
• “Login with Email” is enabled by default.
• You may alternatively use your phone number to login into CirklesApp.
• Enter the password provided while creating the account and click “Login”

Your Profile

Your profile is where you can find your clips, other clips, Friends, Smylers and settings on CirklesApp. You can view what you've shared, see a list of the people you're following and who's following you (Smylers).

• Login → Homepage → Profile

Once you enter the Homepage post Login confirmation, click on the Profile icon at the top of the page.

Find Friends/Smylers

Use “Global search” to find them.

To find Friends/Smylers,

• After Login, navigate to Homepage.
• Click on the “Global Search” button beside the Cirkles icon.
• In the search bar, type the name or email address you wish to find and press enter.
• The result section displays matching profiles with the search keyword.
• Click on the desired name/email to connect to a Friend/Smyler.

Update your Username and Email ID:

To Update your Username and Email ID:

• Go to Login → Profile → Edit Profile > Settings > Personal Information > Basic Info > Edit
• • Click on > “Edit Profile” button beside your profile picture and the profile name, a pop-up will appear. Here, navigate to “Personal Information”, click on the “Edit” icon on the “Basic Info” section.
  • Now you can make changes to your profile.
• Make sure to follow the guidelines as mentioned in the guidelines page.
• Don’t forget to save changes once you’ve updated your details. The changes will be reflected in your profile page within a few seconds.

Update your Profile Picture:

To update your profile picture:

After you Login > Homepage > Your Profile

• Hover over the camera icon, beside your profile and click on “Change”

• Select an image you want to upload. Please upload an image with size greater than 50 KB for better results.
• The image will be updated automatically. Make sure to refresh the page to find the updated image.

Engagement (Features)

This section covers interactions or engagements with other users such as to:

• “Like/Unlike”, “Follow/Unfollow”, “Add comments”, “Share” & “Clip/Unclip” posts shared by CirklesApp friends/community.

Like/Unlike a post!

You could like/unlike any post shared with you by friends/smylers.

• Login → Homepage → Find a post.

To Like a post:

• Click on the first option with a “heart” symbol to “Like” a post.
• The heart turns to a red color to confirm you “Liked” the post.

To Unlike a post:

• You should’ve already “liked” a post before you “unlike” a post.
• Click on the red colored “heart” symbol to “Unlike” the post.
• Once you’ve “Unliked” the post, an emptied heart symbol is visible besides the post.

Follow/Unfollow

To Follow a friend/smyler:

• Login → Homepage → Find a post
• Click on the “foot steps” symbol to follow a friend/smyler.
• A golden sparkle occurs above the symbol indicating that you’re following a friend/smyler.

To Unfollow a friend/smyler:

• You should “follow” a friend/smyler before you “unfollow” them.
• Click on the “foot” symbol with a golden spark to unfollow a friend/smyler.
• Once you “unfollow” a friend/smyler, the golden sparkle disappears on the foot symbol.

Adding comments:

To add a comment to a post:

• Login → Homepage → Find a post/picture
• Click on the “Add comments” icon to add a comment.

Share a post:

Follow the below steps to share a post:

• Login → Homepage → Find a post/picture
• Click on the “Share it!” icon to share a post .

• You can share the post across platforms like Facebook , Whatsapp & Twitter .

Clip/Unclip:

To Clip a friend/smyler:

• Login → Homepage → Find a post
• Click on the “Clip” symbol to follow a friend/smyler.
• A golden sparkle occurs above the symbol indicating that you’ve clipped a friend/smyler’s post.

To Unclip a friend/smyler:

• You should “Clip” a friend/smyler’s post before you “unclip” it.
• Click on the “Clip” symbol with a golden spark to unclip a friend/smyler’s post.
• Once you “unclip” on it, the golden sparkle disappears on the clip symbol.
